Families at Trinity

“Then little children were being brought to Him in order that He might lay his hands on them and pray. The Disciples spoke sternly to those who brought them; but Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs.'”

Matthew 19:13-14

Youth, children, and families are central to our community at Trinity. You are welcome here. We have reorganized our Sunday service and expanded out-of-worship opportunities to reflect this reality. Youth and children are a vital part of our Sunday services and we welcome all families to take an active role in them. You will find youth and children on Sunday engaged in weekly Children’s sermons, serving as acolytes, reading the prayers and scriptures, and worshiping from a dedicated Children’s Transept where they can participate in the service at their level. For families who prefer to worship without the distraction of very young children we offer a nursery during the 10:30 service for newborns to four-year-old children. Families are also invited to continue worship at home with dedicated materials available for home study. Outside of Sunday services, we support a youth bible study, mission events, and monthly opportunities for spiritual growth. For more information on these and other opportunities, please contact Vince Dongarra (vdongarra@gmail.com) or Caddie Rankin (cputnamrankin2@washcoll.edu), Youth and Family liaisons to the Trinity Cathedral Chapter.
